Please be careful approaching strangers in costumes, entering decorated scenes and accepting editable items from people you do not know. This also applies parents, watch and accompany all children in festive locations as well as within haunted homes, rides, mazes and other festive areas that has high foot traffic.
The Beach is now considered closed for the season as it is getting too cold to enter the water without becoming a health risk as ordered by Sheriff Brock Winchester.
We understand this time of season, fall, you may do last minute cookouts, cider making, bonfires seasonal treats. Please keep a fire extinguisher handy and put out all fires and confirm they are extinguished. Supervise ALL children near open flames as wel as other heating fuel powered cooking appliances.
For those who choose to cook indoors, please keep a few properly rated fire extenguiser handy as well as test your smoke detectors and replace battries or the units themselves as needed.
As usual, please use the emergency system for any emergency needs that may arise, report any suspcious activies or persons to the sheriff office.
